LeConte Center. A week of free seminars
and events revolving around wildlife in
the Smoky Mountains. During the week
there are hikes and field trips ranging
from easy, 1-mile jaunts to strenuous
overnight hikes in the park, along with
more than 100 slide shows and lectures
conducted by various experts from the
National Park Service, the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service, Tennessee Wildlife
Resources Agency, the University of
Tennessee, and the Smoky Mountain Field
